HERO optical sensor is the highest performing and most efficient gaming sensor Logitech has ever made. The PRO gaming mouse has the latest version of HERO sensor, called HERO 16K, with an all-new lens and an updated tracking algorithm that delivers ultra-precise tracking with no acceleration, smoothing, or filtering over the entire DPI range. The new HERO 16K sensor exceeds the performance of the previous generation sensor, capable of exceeding 400 IPS and delivering 16,000 DPI tracking with pixel-precise accuracy. 

Mechanical Swtiches and Spring Button Tensioning System
Logitech G worked with Omron to engineer a mechanical swtich that meets the exacting standards of the PRO line. The PRO mechanical switch delivers the extreme performance and a 50M click durability that professional esports athletes demand. However, the switch alone is not enough. To achieve PRO grade performance in the real world, Logitech G combines the PRO switch with exclusive Spring Button Tensioning System (SBTS) to provide a consistent feel and near instantaneous actuation.

Logitech G PRO Gaming Mouse can be used out-of-the-box or it can be fully configured by accessing the optional Logitech Gaming Software (LGS).
